Dr. Kerry Solomon

Dr. Kerry Solomon Kerry Solomon, MD is a recognized leader in both LASIK vision correction and cataract surgery. In 1996 he performed the first LASIK procedure in South Carolina. As the technology advanced, Dr. Solomon also performed the first PRK and iLASIK procedures in the state.

Dr. Solomon began performing cataract correction surgery in 1990 and later became the first in South Carolina to implant multifocal and toric lifestyle lenses, to perform the first toric astigmatism surgery, laser refractive cataract surgery, and to use advanced OZil® ultrasound to remove cataracts.

Since 2002, Dr. Solomon has been named one of the"Top 50 Opinion Leaders in the Fields of Cataract and Refractive Surgery," and one of the"Best Doctors in America" every year. Named one of the top 250 innovators in the field of premium IOL surgery by the publishers and editors of Premier Surgeon, he has also been cited in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Money, Redbook, and Readers Digest. His television appearances include NBC's Today and the PBS series Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, which aired in more than 140 countries.
