Ben Criscitiello was 18 years old the last time he went without glasses. Earlier this year, Ben – better known as “Big Ben” with WSPO sports station in Charleston – had LASIK with Dr. Kerry Solomon. Ben says he was surprised at how fast and painless the procedure was. The worst part, he says, was having the tape removed from around his eyes. The day after, Ben drove himself to his follow-up appointment without his glasses. Next up: playing golf without his glasses sliding down his nose as he leans over a putt.
