Are You a Good Candidate for Cataract Surgery?

Serving Cataract Surgery Patients in Charleston

Cataracts are an extremely common visual condition in adults over the age of 40. Most people will develop cataracts if they live long enough. In the early stages of cataracts, the visual symptoms may not be noticeable, but as cataracts progress, they can cause more significant visual impairment. Cataract surgery is recommended when the effects of cataracts start to interfere with everyday life.

This quiz will give us an indication of whether you might be suffering from cataracts and could benefit from cataract surgery. The only way to know for sure if you’re ready for cataract surgery is to schedule an in-person cataract evaluation with respected cataract surgeon Kerry Solomon.

  • Is healthy enough to undergo outpatient surgery
